The XPP Production Plan module supports two kind of order
types. Customer orders entered through the XPM Sales module
and inventory orders entered through the XPP Production Planning
module.
Sales Orders
The XPP Production Plan module gives the operator an easy
tool to create necessary production plans to fulfill orders
entered in the XPM Sales Client module. For every customer
planners can see what orders are planned already for production
and what orders are still open and need to be assigned.
Inventory orders
The inventory order can be assigned through Inventory control
rules like min/max products in inventory or others.
The XPP Production Plan includes also Trim-assignment for
every production step, which can be done after all production
elements are entered.

decides what paper product needs to be produced to fulfill the customer
order.

To prepare the shipping of customer orders
the storage retrieval plan helps these are ready in time.

If production is overloaded there are several
other ways of completing your order such as rewinding, repacking
or using your inventory.
